Sabine Brueske: Elementary School Math Program

Sabine (Senior Engineer) runs a math enrichment program at a local elementary school. The program is aimed at students in grades 3–5 who are looking for accelerated math enrichment. Students meet after school once a week and are taught by volunteer parents. Recently, ten fourth graders from the math enrichment program competed in the 2012 Whatcom County Math Olympiad. One team (pictured above), which included Sabine’s son (second from left), won first place.
