Samantha Solomon: Days End Farm Horse Rescue

Samantha (Technical Communications Specialist) cares for abused and neglected horses at Days End Farm Horse Rescue (DEFHR) in Woodbine, Maryland. DEFHR rescues horses impounded by state and county animal control agencies, rehabilitates them, and works to find them permanent homes through foster care and adoption. Samantha uses her past horse experience to care for young and high-risk horses, as well as to help teach youth volunteers.

DEFHR also provides a variety of on and off-site horse education programs for children and adults.
