Attend the First ieRoadmap Workshop

Tuesday, April 29, 2008

The workshop, which focuses on research activities to secure control systems in the energy sector, will allow presenters to discuss their research with the ESCSWG and other stakeholders. Presenters will receive valuable feedback on how each project aligns with the goals outlined in the Roadmap to Secure Control Systems in the Energy Sector. The aim is to foster among the ESCSWG, asset owners and operators, researchers, and other industry members an exchange of technical information and ideas that align with Roadmap goals.

The workshop is sponsored by the ESCSWG, a group of private sector and government leaders working to facilitate and guide the implementation of the Roadmap.

By participating in the workshop, program managers in government and private industry will gain a better understanding of the relevance of each project to the Roadmap. The workshop is also open to all energy sector stakeholders, providing a forum to raise industry awareness and improve industry uptake of each developing technology or service in the future.

Those who have already posted projects to the ieRoadmap have been nominated to present at the workshop. If you are leading a project that fits within the strategic framework of the ieRoadmap, visit the ieRoadmap website to find out how you can present at this important workshop.
