Nuclear Standby Support Program Activities
Energetics developed an implementation procedure for the Standby Support Rule, which protects utilities constructing new advanced nuclear facilities against certain regulatory and litigation-related delays by providing them with government-backed risk insurance coverage. Supporting activities included producing three white papers explaining improvements in the Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s (NRC) regulatory framework that were relevant to Standby Support.More Info
