Wind
Wind energy is one of the fastest growing sources of electricity in the United States. The industry is helping create jobs, address climate change, and restore and expand our domestic manufacturing infrastructure. However, regulatory, institutional, and financial uncertainties as well as environmental and social concerns are limiting the potential growth of this clean energy source. For wind energy to contribute significantly to meeting the nation’s energy needs, industry, government, interested parties, and stakeholders must work together to address these issues.
Energetics was among the first to address offshore wind-permitting issues in the United States and in Europe. We are at the forefront of the wind energy sector, assisting federal, state, and non-governmental organization clients in understanding the breadth and depth of environmental, regulatory, and public acceptance issues associated with both offshore and land-based wind turbine deployments. With over a decade of experience in wind energy, we provide technical analysis and strategic support to help our clients understand and address the siting and deployment of gigawatt-scale wind energy expansion. Energetics supports and enables collaborative research efforts and facilitates meetings for experts to address potentially controversial environmental risks associated with these deployments.
