Energy Efficiency

Energy efficiency—the use of technology that requires less energy to perform the same function—has a major role to play in our nation’s energy future. It can make immediate, significant contributions to mitigating emissions and reducing the impacts of climate change. In addition, it can help decrease our dependence on foreign energy sources while preserving quality of life. Most energy efficiency projects also reduce energy costs, boosting the bottom line for homes and businesses. For these reasons, energy efficiency will be an essential component of smart energy strategies for decades to come.

Energetics provides a range of evaluation, roadmapping, planning, analysis, partnership development, and communications services to support energy efficiency efforts. Our consultants work with federal stakeholders and industry representatives to encourage adoption, reduce adoption costs, support rulemaking and standards development related to energy efficiency, accelerate certification, and support research and development of energy-efficient technologies.
