Data centers and telecommunications systems represent the engine of the American economy today.  Innovative solutions are needed to radically improve the energy efficiency of these vital systems, which already consume 3 percent of U.S. electric power and are growing rapidly to meet increasing demand.

Achieving a step change in the energy efficiency of telecommunications and data centers will require accelerated adoption of existing best practices as well as research, development, and demonstration of revolutionary technology advances within the next few years.  Energetics has the technical expertise to support clients in the public and private sectors who are collaboratively increasing access to existing technical resources and identifying the critical research, development, and demonstration (RD&D) needs and responsibilities for achieving the needed technology innovations.
