FY 2005 Request for Cooperative R&D Proposals Now Available

June 6, 2005 - Please note that the FY 2005 request for cooperative R&D proposals, commissioned by the Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability, is now available online. This RFP covers 2 topic areas related to GridWorks and 4 topic areas related to Electric Distribution R&D. These topic areas are:

1. Demonstration of Advanced Distribution Operations/Automation with DER Integration
2. Demonstration of Smart Appliances for Load Management
3. Fault Locating, Prediction, and Protection
4. Microgrid Technology Development and Demonstration
5. Cables and Conductors
6. Substations and Protective Systems

All proposals are due July 8, 2005. Please see the RFP for details.

GridWorks Soliciting Feedback on Draft Multi-Year Plan

February 24, 2005 –A draft of the GridWorks Multi-Year Plan was recently in February 2005. Stakeholders are encouraged to review this plan and submit feedback on it to Tara Faherty at Energetics, Incorporated.
