The 4th Annual ASRE Conference was held at the Energy Resource Center of the Southern California Gas Company, in Downey, CA on September 18-19, 2007.
The 2007 conference approached stationary reciprocating engines from both technical and policy perspectives, with emphasis on issues specific to California, and what one needs to know to effectively do business in the state. - Manufacturers and suppliers of ancillary technologies and services

- Researchers (government, corporate, academic, or independent)
- California state and local policymakers
- Policymakers from other interested states
- Federal policymakers, including United States EPA
- Producers and marketers of alternative fuels, including landfill gas, syngas, biodiesel, etc.
- Energy Services providers involved in Distributed Generation and/or Combined Heat & Power using stationary reciprocating engines as prime-movers
- Facilities managers who are considering a purchase of advanced reciprocating engines for power generation
