In 2004, Energetics partnered with the U.S. Department of Energy and the nuclear industry to create the first-ever U.S. Department of Energy/Nuclear Power Industry Strategic Plan for Light Water Reactor Research and Development (PDF 2.4 MB). The document was a collaborative effort with our Department of Energy clients, the Electric Power Research Institute, and the Nuclear Energy Institute. The resulting plan is being used by the stakeholders to guide their research, development, and demonstration efforts related to the Nuclear Power 2010 and Nuclear Energy Plant Optimization programs.
