Energetics facilitated a two-day workshop of more than 50 stakeholders from industry, government, national laboratories, and others involved in combined heat and power and the residential building industry to creatively look at solutions to technical, institutional, and market barriers facing micro-combined heat and power systems. To develop this roadmap we synthesized the often-conflicting inputs from the workshop to create a consensus set of actions. It lists actions that need to happen in three categories: Defining Markets, Developing Technology, and Accelerating Acceptance.
This roadmap outlines the necessary steps that need to be taken to achieve the desired future for micro-combined heat and power systems.
