The Chemical Industry Vision 2020 Technology Partnership identified Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials as a priority technology R&D opportunity. The roadmap workshop and report were prepared to help guide government funding.

Energetics planned and facilitated a three-day workshop devoted to documenting the chemical industry's nanomaterial priorities.  Industry experts were asked to identify and prioritize the technologies critical to exploiting nano-scale properties and how these properties integrate across size scales and into functional products.

The comprehensive roadmap report serves as a guide for research investments worldwide and has been heavily referenced in subsequent Vision2020 implementation efforts.
