After defining goals and milestones for increasing energy control system security in the Roadmap to Secure Control Systems in the Energy Sector, OE sought to offer energy sector members a collaborative venue to help the energy industry stimulate dialogue, address common issues, leverage research efforts, and raise awareness about activities in control systems security.

Energetics proposed, designed, and developed the collaborative ieRoadmap web application, which provides a searchable, online tool for posting projects and mapping them to key roadmap strategic goals and  matches current R&D activities to industry priorities, making it easier to spot gaps in coverage and identify opportunities for leveraging resources through partnership. The ieRoadmap is used by system owners and operators, system vendors, government officials, and researchers from national laboratories and academia.

Community users continue to enter new projects and update details on more than 100 projects currently on the site.
