Energetics developed this summary workshop report to identify specialty glass needs for the solar industry.
The DOE wanted to better understand the kinds of solar specialty glass that are needed and the issues that must be addressed in order to enable the wider manufacturing of solar glass products within the United States.
Energetics gathered approximately 60 technical and market experts and stakeholders from the glass and solar industries and conducted breakout sessions at the workshop to fully explore the topic areas of interest.
